Krysten Resnick

Actress and Cultural Consultant | Founder of London School of Hula and ‘Ori

Krysten is a California-born and London-based visual artist, creating empowering art and empowering spaces focused mainly on the needs of women and children. She believes that by promoting positivity through creativity and confidence through community, we can spark forward-looking growth in individuals and, in turn, society. Throughout her time as a creator, she has spearheaded projects and built communities that are bound together by these beliefs.

Krysten is the founder and director of London School of Hula and ‘Ori — a women and inclusive performing arts/dance group focused on building confidence, overall health, and empowerment through the art of cultural storytelling dances, specifically the Hawaiian Hula and ‘Ori Tahiti. LSHO creates a space that allows its members to be part of something bigger than themselves and encourages others to learn from the past, engage with the present, and create a brighter future. It is no surprise that this particular nurturing environment saw « The Vahine » come to life.
