Tehani Robinson
Actress | The big sister
Tehani is a lifelong dancer based in London and trained in Tahiti alongside her aunt, Tumata Robinson. Growing up, she danced with the acclaimed group of Les Grands Ballets de Tahiti and award-winning Tahiti Ora. She toured the world with the latter to promote her love and passion for her culture. In 2015, she moved to New York City and co-founded ‘Ori Manea Tahitian Dance School, which provides weekly classes and cultivates a warm community for performers of all levels.
In 2018, she joined London School of Hula and ‘Ori where she continues to teach and spread her love of dance. In 2019, together with her group of dancers she performed on the internationally recognized stage of Heiva’i’Paris where she placed first in two categories: Best Mehura Group and Best Soloist Dancer. Later that year, those titles took her back to the Fenua where she was invited to compete on the world-renowed stages of the ‘Ori Tahiti Nui Competition and ‘Ori World Championship.
